Since long time I don’t write a travel article for my first WordPress blog ever. It seems I somehow forgot this sharing space of mine. So, I had the chance of spending 2 weeks in Marrakech. Marrakech is a wonderful city, exotic, interesting and above all, full of charm and as much craziness you might want – just to spice up your holidays.
Very good to travel to Marrakech is to take advantage of the low cost flights connecting London to Marrakech, Paris to Marrakech, Lisboa to Marrakech and Madrid to Marrakech. With the air company Ryanair one can fly as cheap as 35 euros round-trip to Marrakech with a cheap ticket.

Don’t forget to drink a cheap orange juice at Jemaa el Fna Square, the heart of this incredible city. One fresh juice costs 4 dirhams (0.4 euros). Enjoy.
What I was doing in Marrakech?
I was making some business visits and taking care of few other projects in Marrakech. I also had the chance of visiting the place where shops buy Moroccan shoes called babouches – the wholesale shops where you can actually buy a normal 50 Dirhams babouche (5 euros) for around 35 Dirhams (3.5 Euros).

Accommodation in Marrakech – Riad Marrakech
I stayed in the newly renovated Moroccan riad called Riad Paula – Riad Marrakech. This is a very nice place to stay, perfectly located in the old city of Marrakech and with rooms starting at 59 Euros on double occupancy – bed and breakfast. Riad Paula is very close to Marrakech main monuments and best sightseeing places.
RIAD PAULA MARRAKECH - Address: Riad Zitoune Kedim, Derb Jdid, 40040 Marrakech Medina Morocco; Phone: +212 (0) 524.427.349; Mobile: +212 (0) 661.887.801. If you want more information about this Marrakech riad visit their new website also recently online: Riad Marrakech – Riad Paula.
